Okra or Vendakkai in Tamil is used in so many different ways in Indian cooking but this fry is the easiest. Simply saute okra in some spices and you'll have a tasty side dish ready in no time.

Ingredients
4cupsokra(chopped)
1cuponion(chopped)
¼tspturmeric powder
2tspmasala powder
1tspcoriander powder
3tbspoil
1tspmustard seeds
½tspurad dhal
salt to taste
Instructions
Add oil to a frying pan. Once hot, add mustard seeds and urad dhal.
Once the mustard seeds crackle, add onions. Saute until the raw smell fades.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and masala powder. Mix well.
Then, add okra and saute until the stickiness goes away.
Sprinkle with salt and mix well. Cook for 7-10 minutes.
