This crunchy, quick and simple dish is easy to make and is a great side dish with any rice and curry.

Ingredients
- 2 medium sized broccoli crowns
- 3 garlic cloves (chopped)
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 2 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp mustard seeds
- ¼ tsp urad dhal
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Cut broccoli into small florets, wash and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Once hot, add mustard seeds and urad dhal.
- Once mustard seeds crackle, add garlic and saute for 1 minute.
- Add broccoli, chili flakes and salt to taste.
- Cover with lid and cook for 2-3 minutes. To keep the broccoli crunchy do not overcook.
- Adjust spice as needed and serve hot.
