Ingredients

  • 1 cup ragi flour
  • ½ cup rice flour
  • ½ cup sooji (also known as rava)
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • cup chopped onion
  • 3 green chilies (finely chopped) (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp cumin seeds (coarsely ground)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper (coarsely ground)
  • ½ inch ginger (grated)

Instructions

  • Add ragi flour, rice flour and sooji to a mixing bowl.

  • Pour in 3 cups of water and mix with a whisk. The batter should be watery (adjust water as needed).
  • Once the tawa (pan) is hot, pour the batter. Small holes should form on the dosa. Add oil and let it cook.
  • Once golden brown, flip and apply oil on to the other side. Cook until crisp.
