  • 1 cup onion (chopped)
  • ½ cup capsicum/bell pepper (chopped)
  • ¼ cup tomato (chopped)
  • 5 green chilies (chopped finely) (adjust to taste)
  • 15 curry leaves (chopped)
  • ½ tsp pepper powder

  • Chop the onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, green chilies, and curry leaves. Add them to the mixing bowl.

  • Cover with a lid and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes.
  • Using a wooden skewer stick, flip the paniyaram and cook on the other side. This should take 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove the paniyarams from the mold when they are golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve hot with spicy sauce or tomato ketchup.

Notes

  •  Instead of adding in raw veggies, you can also sauté them for 2 minutes in a pan. Once cool, add them to the beaten egg mixture.
