Brussels Sprout Poriyal
This South Indian spin on brussels sprouts is sure to please people of all ages as every hearty crunch comes with a lot of yum.

moong dhal

green chilies
(slit in half)

urad dhal

mustard seeds

curry leaves

salt to taste
Instructions
Wash moong dhal and soak in water for at least 30 minutes.
In a pan, add oil. Once hot, add urad dhal and mustard seeds.
Once mustard seeds crackle, add green chilies, brussels sprouts and curry leaves.
Add soaked moong dhal and cook for 3-4 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the brussels sprouts.
Add salt and mix well.
Serve hot as a side dish with rice.
