Ingredients
1lbkale(about 1 bunch)
3tbspmoong dhal(soaked in 1 cup water)
3dry red chilies(adjust to taste)
2tbspoil
1tspurad dhal
½tspmustard seeds
salt to taste
Instructions
Wash moong dhal and soak in 1 cup water for at least ½ hour.
Wash kale leaves thoroughly. Remove the thick stem in the middle and chop into small pieces. Set aside.
Add oil to a frying pan. Once hot, add mustard seeds, urad dhal and dry red chilies.
Once mustard seeds crackle, add chopped kale leaves.
Saute for 1 minute and add soaked moong dhal.
Saute for 2-3 minutes and add salt to taste.
Then, cook on medium flame until the moong dhal and kale are well cooked.
Cook for 2-3 minutes. All the water should be absorbed.
