Ingredients
5piecesKing fish
2tbsplemon juice

½tspturmeric powder
To grind:
1tspfennel seeds
½tspblack pepper
1tbspmasala powder(adjust to taste)
1tbspcoriander powder
1tspKasimiri red chili powder(adjust to taste)
5clovesgarlic
2inchginger piece(cut into cubes)
Instructions
Place the fish on a flat bowl.
Add lemon juice and salt to the bowl.
Evenly spread turmeric powder on all the pieces. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Next, add all ingredients under "To grind:", except the ginger and garlic, into a blender. Grind until a fine powder forms.
Then, add ginger and garlic to the blender. Grind into a thick paste. (Add a few drops of water, if needed)
Rub the ground mixture on all the fish pieces and let the marinade sit for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, heat oil in a frying pan.
Once hot, add 1-2 pieces of fish to the frying pan (depends on the size of your fish and frying pan).
Fry on medium flame and cook until crisp and golden brown.
Now, carefully flip the fish over and cook on the other side.
Once the fish is thoroughly cooked, remove the fish from the oil and place it on a plate lined with paper towels.
Repeat this process for the remaining fish pieces.
