Spicy Shrimp Masala
This Spicy Shrimp Masala is a must try. Sauteed in a dry roasted powder, onions and aromatic spices, this dish is one you won't be able to resist.

Ingredients

deveined shrimp

For dry roast and grind:
1

black pepper
(adjust to taste)

tbsp
cumin seeds
½
tbsp
fennel seeds

tbsp
coriander seeds

dry red chilies
(adjust to taste)

cinnamon stick

cloves

green cardamom
Instructions
Dry roast the ingredients under dry roast and grind. Grind into a fine powder and set aside.
Add oil to a pan. Once hot, add fennel seeds and black pepper.
When fennel seeds start to sizzle, add chopped onions and saute for 3-4 minutes.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw smell fades.
Then, add turmeric powder and the freshly ground masala powder. Mix well.
Saute and cook for 5-6 minutes.
Add curry leaves and mix.
Next, add shrimp and saute for 2 minutes. Add salt to taste.
Cook for 3-4 minutes. Once the shrimp is cooked, it will curl. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp.
Once cooked, remove from heat. Add lemon juice and mix.
Serve hot with rice, idli, dosa or roti.
