Thalicha Idli with Onions
This spin on leftover idli, is for the onion lovers out there. Soft idlis and sauteed onions make a great pair for breakfast on a busy day.

Ingredients

urad dhal

salt to taste
Instructions
Add water and 1 tsp of salt to a bowl.
Immerse one idli at a time into the bowl. Squeeze out the excess water and crumble the idli. Repeat with all idlis and set aside in a bowl.
Add oil to a pan. Once hot, add mustard seeds and urad dhal.
Once the mustard seeds crackle, add chopped onions, green chilies and curry leaves.
Then add idli crumbs and salt to taste and gently mix.
Cook for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
Serve hot with sambar and chutney.
