Anything fried always tastes good, but add some spices to it and its sure to taste even better.

Ingredients

plantains
(cut into thick matchsticks)

turmeric powder

coriander powder

tsp
masala powder

cinnamon powder
salt to taste

oil
(for shallow fry)
For ground seasoning:
1
tsp
fennel seeds
1
tsp
cumin seeds
1
tsp
black pepper

garlic cloves

cup
curry leaves
(4 sprigs)
Instructions
Coarsely grind the fennel seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, garlic and curry leaves. Add to cut plantain.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, masala powder and salt to plantains. Toss and set aside for at least 30 minutes.
Pour oil into a frying pan. Once hot, carefully add a few pieces at a time and fry until fully cooked.
Check for spice and salt and adjust as needed.
Serve hot as a side dish.
