- 1 tbsp cilantro
- 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Kasmiri red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp Kitchen King Masala (optional) (can also use ½ tsp of garam masala as a substitute)
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 3 tbsp oil
- 4 cups hot water
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Cut the cauliflower into florets.
- Immerse them in hot water for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, drain the excess water and set aside.
- Add oil to a pan. Once hot, add cumin seeds.
- Once aromatic, add onions and sauté until translucent.
- Now, add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 2-3 minutes. The raw smell should fade.
- Next add and sauté the tomatoes for 1 minute.
- Mix in turmeric powder, coriander powder, Kasmiri red chili powder, and garam masala powder. Cook for 1 minute.
- Then, add the cauliflower florets and mix well. Cook on medium to high heat.
- Add the Kitchen King Masala, if using, or another ½ tsp of garam masala powder.
- Mix well and add salt to taste.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes. Let the masalas absorb into the cauliflower. Be careful not to overcook the cauliflower, it should still be a little crunchy.
