Scrambled Egg

Scrambled Eggs and toast are a weekend must have. Your Sunday mornings are sure to be brighter with this egg recipe.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp urad dhal
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp dry red chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 green chilies (chopped)
  • ½ bell pepper (chopped)
  • ½ onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Once hot, add mustard seeds, urad dhal and red chili flakes.
  • Once mustard seeds crackle, add green chilies and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Then, add bell pepper and onions. Saute until the onions become soft.
  • Break the eggs in the pan. Mix and cook until fully done.
  • Add pepper powder and salt. Adjust salt and spice as needed.
  • Serve hot with bread or on its own.
